[APK] HMD bringing a new “Nokia Camera Lite” app to Google Play store

HMD may be planning to bring a new Nokia Camera app named as “Nokia Camera Lite” to some of its Nokia smartphones soon, it seems. While the Nokia Camera Lite doesn’t seem to be available or may have been pulled after appearing briefly on Google Play Store the APK has been extracted by APK sites.

As one can see in the featured image above, Nokia Camera Lite was uploaded by HMD on July 2 for the first time to Google Play Store. But, even if you try to find the app link using the package name “com.hmdglobal.camera2lite” it remains hidden and simply shows a “not found” error.

Recently HMD has been hard at work bringing new features and UI changes to its camera app, but as the name suggests this camera app may be meant for perhaps the lighter usage or just for the low-end Nokia smartphones.

You can download the APK from this link but we were not able to install it on Nokia 8.1 and 7.1. We will keep trying it on other smartphones and update you. In the meantime, you can do the same and let us know if it works for any of your smartphones.

Thanks, Dinuka for the tip. Cheers!!
