Google Calendar for Android updated with copy event and notify guest feature

Earlier today we reported our readers about Google updating the Chrome browser on Android platform.

Now the company is updating one more of its apps on Android. The latest one from Google to get the update is Calendar app by Google. The official Calendar app from Google is available in nearly every Android smartphone.

The update to Calendar for Android takes it to version 5.8.22-187024718-release in the Google Play Store. This update comes with two new changes if mentioned. With this update, you can now copy an event from one Calendar to another calendar. Another improvement is ability to duplicate an event sp that it can be used as a template to a different event.

Changelog:

  • Copy and Duplicate – Copy an event from one calendar to another, or duplicate an existing event to use it as a template for a new event.
  • Notify guests – Choose whether to email guests when you update an event.
