HMD is moving quickly to disrupt the low-end Android smartphone market, it seems. It may be planning to launch Nokia 2.3 that should be the Nokia 2.2 successsor as the naming suggests. While this sounds a bit surprising that HMD will replace Nokia 2.2 with a new model so soon after its launch, entries in a distributor database and a Nokia 2.3 clear case entry elsewhere suggest so.
Entries from the same database has proved to be genuine in case of Nokia 7.2 so we have some precedent too. One can also notice that the entries get it right, that TA-1206 is the Dual-SIM variant as the FCC certification has revealed recently. Nokia 2.3 will have TA-1214 as a Single-SIM variant, while this info is not available about variant TA-1211.
As the entries reveal Nokia 2.3 will be available in Charcoal, Cyan Green and Sand color models. We also saw an entry for Nokia 2.3 clear case at a distributor in Germany, and thus it seems more certain now.
We recently saw the device passing through Bluetooth certification and if you do a bit of digging, you will come to know that it will be powered by a Mediatek processor with Bluetooth 5.0 specs.
For your information Nokia 2.2 is also powered by Mediatek Helio A22 processor but comes with only Bluetooth 4.2 specs. So, it is entirely possible that the processor remains same but Nokia 2.3 comes with enhanced Bluetooth support.
