Classic Nokia 3650, much popular for its radial design in its heydays, may soon return to make Nokia fans happy. Though, as you may have already assumed its return will in its modern avatar.
A rumor has been making rounds that HMD global aka Nokia Mobile is planning to bring Nokia 3650 as the next Nokia classic re-born. The last Nokia classics reborn were Nokia 6300 4G and Nokia 8000 4G.
So, it will be interesting to see how the company plans to redesign Nokia 3650. The phone that became very popular for its radical design language need to get a befitting modern touch.
HMD has not always got appreciation from the Nokia fan community for its modern takes on classics. Nokia 3310, Nokia 6300 4G and Nokia 8000 4G re-designs were loathed by many, though Nokia 2720 and Nokia 8110 re-designs have been readily accepted.
So, redesigning a phone like Nokia 3650 doesn’t come without its challenges. HMD perhaps needs to stick closer to the old layout for keyboard that defined Nokia 3650. It will be great if Nokia 3650 comes with 4G support. That will certainly give it better market acceptability too.
Indian Nokia fans have been mostly left high and dry by HMD when it comes to launching the Nokia classic reborns in the market. None of the headline-making classic reborns have been launched in India with the exception of Nokia 3310 and Nokia 5310. Probably Nokia 3650 will be an exception too and will make its way to Indian market.
