This can be termed to be good and encouraging news for Windows Phone app Eco-system growth. Asian developers have expressed their willingness to continue developing apps for WP8 and BlackBerry 10 platforms according to a Digitimes report. Most of mobile application developers participating in BlackBerry Jam Asia 2013 have also provided reasons behind the support for these platforms.

According to the developers, Apple places strict controls on developers and there have been many free or bad-quality Android-based applications.

Some developers also claimed that they will opt to stay in the BlackBerry 10 or Windows Phone 8 camp because the smartphone market has been filled up with too many of iOS and Android applications, offering little space in the two segments.

  • Surely getting exposure on Play Store is almost like fishing in a dead sea. Top apps won’t have any space for new devs. WP can provide the required exposure.

I went through the Apple and Android app stores yesterday and there sure is a lot of hate towards those apps in their stores in the review sections.
