We have been reporting about Alcatel Idol 4 Pro aka Alcatel Idol 4S with Windows 10 leaks, and rather much frequently in last some days. A new rumor now claims that Alcatel Idol 4 Pro may be the first Windows 10 Mobile smartphone with VR capability as one of key “feature highlights”.
Not only the smartphone may come with VR content to consume out of the box, it may even ship with VR headsets. In fact Alcatel has adopted similar strategy for its Android version of Alcatel Idol 4S.
Winfuture, the German site that has posted this rumor also presents some interesting evidences. It seems there is entry for an app “VRLauncher” in the Windows app store, which was found by WinFuture. The Android version of this app is already available on Google Play Store for Alcatel’s Android devices.
Traces of VR support has also been found in the ROM of Alcatel Idol 4 Pro. It seems VR gallery and player would ship pre-installed on Idol 4 Pro devices. There may be VR store too for users to purchase and consume VR content.
