We have seen a lot of Nokia X7/7.1 Plus related leaks appearing in last few days. This usually happens when a new Nokia smartphone approaches its launch date, though it is not happening on October 4 which is date of sales start for Nokia 5.1 Plus/6.1 Plus in Europe.
But now a tip from one of our known tipsters claims that HMD may be planning to launch not one but two Nokia smartphones powered by Snapdragon 710. One of them Nokia 7.1 will be the spiritual successor to the Nokia 7 and may come without a notch. While Nokia 7.1 Plus aka Nokia X7 will come sporting a notch again powered by Snapdragon 710.
Both Nokia 7.1 and 7.1 Plus may sport Zeiss-branded rear Dual-Camera and may be launched soon in China followed by a global release. We have seen many images of the Nokia 7.1 that may be the one without notch appearing in many leaks originating in China already.
The one with the notch which is Nokia 7.1 Plus as per this tip may have been leaked by well-known leakster Onleak in a tweet.
Here comes the #NOKIA 7.1 (Plus?) 360° video + official looking 5K renders + dimensions (as usual, based upon factory CAD), on behalf of @mysmartprice -> https://t.co/hdgwu5N2kW pic.twitter.com/bQXP9Xs6Jz

Nokia 7.1 Plus may have bigger display as compared to the Nokia 7.1 but other features/specs may be comparable including the processor. We would still suggest to take this tip with a pinch of salt as it is based upon the inputs from HMD support staff and they are not always correct, as we have seen in the past.
