Great news for Nokia 1 owners!! HMD has started rolling out the Android Pie update for Nokia 1, its entry-level smartphone. HMD CPO Juho has taken to Twitter to confirm that the official Android Pie update for Nokia 1 will be available starting today.

The update roll-out is phased and will not be available for everyone at the same time. With the roll-out of Pie update to Nokia 1, HMD can claim success in keeping its promise of keeping its devices updated from entry-level Nokia 1 to flagship level Nokia 9 PureView.
