HMD has started pushing December Security update to Nokia 8 after Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 in global markets. Our readers have tipped us about the update being available for Nokia 8. But it is not available for our Indian Nokia 8 variant yet.
December Android Security update is now available for our Nokia 8 TA-1004 variant in India too.
As you can see in the screenshots above the December security update for Nokia 8 is 87.6 MB in size. You will either be prompted to download this update or you can check by going to Settings and searching system updates and then by checking for the update.

HMD has been quite consistent in terms of releasing Monthly Security updates and OS updates for Nokia smartphones already available in the market. HMD has also made it clear that all Nokia Android Phones will receive minimum two years of OS update support.
