Nokia 2 has started receiving a new Android Oreo 8.1 Beta build along with the July Android Security update. The latest Oreo Beta build number is V1.15M.
The first Nokia 2 Oreo Beta build brought the combined set of Android Oreo 8.0 and 8.1 features and changes. But performance wise it was not the jump many may have expected it to be.
Hopefully the second Oreo 8.1 Beta build for Nokia 2 can make amendments. We will test and bring to you our hands-on impressions of the latest Android Oreo 8.1 Beta on Nokia 2. Nokia 5 and 6 are other Nokia smartphones that have started receiving the July Security update.

The changelog mentions Oreo 8.1 features along with July Android Security update. The July Security update brings fix for a critical security vulnerability in Media framework that could enable a remote attacker using a specially crafted file to execute arbitrary code within the context of a privileged process.
