WhatsApp Beta for Android is now getting an update in the Google Play store.
The company is now pushing the update with app version 2.17.419. It seems the company is working on some new features. A new feature we want to talk here is changes to the way we make voice and video calls on WhatsApp.
WhatsApp already brought the material design changes to the WhatsApp app on Android platform. But it seems the company is working on a new feature that will let you easily switch between voice and video calls. There will be a new button on the bottom right side which will let you switch to video calls without ending the going call. The company is giving recipient freedom to accept or decline the call.
