Google Play Store on Nokia Mobile phones gets UI changes

7

Google Play store is receiving a new update that brings UI changes to the app. While Google started rolling out this update few days ago to Android smartphones the roll-out has been phased. So, now we can see Nokia smartphones receiving this update in India.

The UI changes see the new Google Play store app ditch the hamburger menu. All the options are now under the profile icon on the top right. When the new UI arrives for Google Play store on your smartphones you will be informed via a notification as can be seen in the first screenshot above.

Apps & games, payment methods, notifications and offers have now moved to the menu that pops up by clicking on the profile icon. Check the second screenshot above.

Coming to other UI changes, the settings page now also has all the options well-categorized under four broad headings. The search page also looks better with more information and more accurate search results.

The Play store update may not be available for all Nokia Android smartphones at the same time. It is a phased roll-out, so your smartphone may receive the update sooner or later depending upon when Google makes it available.
