After teasing what appears to be a new Nokia smartphone with HDR display and notch, HMD India has sent press invites for a launch event on December 6. The interesting thing is that this event is scheduled just a day after the big Dubai launch event.
So, may be it will be a bigger launch event than we may have expected and perhaps Indian fans will also see launch of Nokia 8.1 along with Nokia 7.1. Nokia 9 PureView is also expected to be launched on December 5 in Dubai, however, India may not be one of the first markets for the smartphone as most of the leaks have originated from European retailers so far.
Nokia 7.1 details:
Nokia 7.1 will come with a 5.84 (inch), Full-HD PureDisplay screen with 19:9 ratio. It comes with a notch like Nokia 6.1 Plus. It will be powered by a 1.8 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 processor.
Nokia 7.1 comes with a Zeiss-branded 12MP/5MP Dual rear and 8MP front camera. It will be available in two RAM variants:- 3GB/4GB and will come in two storage variants 32GB/64GB.

Nokia Phoenix aka Nokia 8.1 details:
Nokia X7 aka Nokia 8.1 comes with a display size of 6.18-inch with 2246×1080 resolution and 19:9 ratio. It packs a big 3400 mAH battery. It comes in three color models Red, Silver and Blue. An Octa-core Snapdragon 710 processor clocked at 2.2 GHz will power it. Nokia X7 will be available in 4GB/6GB RAM + 64GB/128GB internal storage variants.
Nokia X7 has Dual Camera (12+13) MP on the back and a 20MP front camera. The Dual-Camera comes with major improvement over the Nokia 7 Plus camera.
