Google Photos for Android updated with support for Live Albums

0

Google has now officially pushed an update to the Google Photos app. This time are getting update to Google Photos on Android platform.

For our test device with Android Pie running on it, the updated app version is 4.5.0.220874418. The update to Google Photos comes to Google Play Store and is available for all.

In this update, the most important change we noticed is a whole new term called Live Album. With the Live Album, you can now share photos in real-time. What you have to do is just create an album and share it with your loved ones. But when in future to make any modifications, the changes will automatically be shared to your loved ones.

Changelog:

  • Introducing Live Albums, an easier way to share with loved ones. Select the people and pets you want to see and Google Photos will automatically add photos of them as you take them.
  • Your family and friends will always see the latest photos, no manual updates needed.
  • Not available in all countries.
