Windows 10 Mobile is the major update for Windows Phone 8.1 devices. But before Windows 10 Mobile, Microsoft was expected to release Windows Phone GDR 2 update for all Lumia devices. However, the company skipped the update and begun focusing on Windows 10 Mobile.

It seems At&t is now rolling out Windows Phone 8.1 GDR 2 update for Lumia 830 devices. However, in their website, the company claims the update was released by Microsoft on October 14, 2015. To get the update your device should be running on Windows Phone 8.1 build 8.10.14219.341. For those who are wondering, after installing the GDR 2 update, OS version bumps to Build 8.10.15148.160.

According to At&t, the OTA update includes Windows Phone 8.1 GDR 2 and Find my Phone with Reset Protection features.
