Lumia 820 has always lived under the shadows, since its revelation with sibling Lumia 920. The reason is simple to understand, everyone is busy in singing praises of bigger and mightier Lumia. But, mind you Lumia 820 is no slouch and it also inherits SuperSensitive touch screen and wireless charging from the innovative feature set of Lumia 920. But, have you seen Nokia demoing the SuperSensitive touch screen of Lumia 820 before? Even we haven’t 😛 .

Anyways, we could find one on the YouTube.

HTC has also come up with two WP8 phones HTC 8X and 8S which many deem as Lumia copy-cats. HTC 8X is the flagship device and everyone is comparing it with Lumia 920, which looks like totally one-sided duel for me. In fact if you know that Lumia 820 itelf comes packed with great features like SuperSensitive touchscreen, 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB RAM, Wireless charging, 8MP Carl-Zeiss Camera then it seems a better overall devices than HTC 8X. It will also come at a lower price than HTC 8X :).

Here, I will just reproduce Lumia 820 to HTC 8X comparison showing, where one of them has got upper hand on the other and where are they matched.

Lumia 820 over HTC 8X:

  • Supersensitive touch screen (Works with Glove, Fork, Spoon , Keys ………:).)
  • Wireless charging
  • MicroSD slot
  • Bluetooth 4.0
  • 8 MP Carl-Zeiss lens
  • CBD display with great outdoor visibility

HTC 8X over Lumia 820:

  • Screen resolution of 1280 x 720 with 342 PPI
  • FFC, 2.0 MP and 1080p video capture

Where both are evenly matched:

  • Beats Audio vs Dolby Surround sound
  • Screen size
  • 1.5 GHz dual core processor
  • 1 GB RAM
