If you are still using a Nokia S40 phone then there is a bad news for you in store. WhatsApp has stopped working on Nokia S40 Phones in the new year. This was confirmed by WhatsApp in its official FAQ.
For the following operating systems, you can no longer create new accounts. However, you’ll be able to continue using WhatsApp on:
- Nokia S40 until December 31, 2018
- Android versions 2.3.7 and older until February 1, 2020
- iOS 7 and older until February 1, 2020
