VLC for Windows Phone updated with partial “hardware decoding”

VLC app for Windows Phone has been updated to 1.2.0.0. The update is significant as it bring “partial hardware decoding” with itself. On checking the undated app, I was able to watch the HD videos captured with my Lumia 1020 for the first time without any issue using VLC.

An update of VLC for Windows Phone is available. Lots of refactoring, bug fixes, improvements in playing the videos. Please reports bugs. 🙂

VLC for Windows Phone 1.2.0 is being deployed on the store, in beta. This should bring numerous improvements and partial hardware decoding.
