Microsoft added two more issues o the list of known issues with the Build 14926. Users are complaining about the pin pad being no longer visible to unlock the phone even after rebooting the phone. For some the SIM Card is not working after the update.

Microsoft has announced that a new update will start rolling out to devices running developers preview version of Windows Phone 8. update 1. As promised by Joe Belfiore, this update will bring fix for the error 0x80188308 and will enable HTC devices HTC 8X and 8S to update to GDR1.

So, we can expect a solution to the error 0x80188308, which has stopped many developers preview devices form getting GDR1.
Joe Belfiore has confirmed what our readers tipped. So, while the error 8018830f faced by some users trying to update to Windows Phone 8.1 update 1 has been fixed, error 0×80188308 still needs to be resolved. He also confirmed that Microsoft is working with HTC to roll-out GDR1 to HTC
Seems while error #8018830f has been fixed and it has confirmed by many of our readers now, the error 0x80188308 is still giving trouble to some of the users.
