Slowly more details are emerging about the upcoming 2018 Nokia flagships. Last we reported a report from China that claimed that one of the flagship may sport a notch in a bid to maximize the display. Later we saw hand-made sketches posted on the basis of the this report.
But, if a report our sources have to be taken into account one of the Nokia Flagship prototype that they have seen, is more like Nokia 8 Sirocco in terms of design and doesn’t sport a notch. It isn’t clear as to what this one will be called or be launched. We have heard about Nokia 9 (2018) and Nokia 8 Pro (2018) as the two possible retail names.
Nokia 9 may be the one with in-display finger-print sensor and better camera as the Nokia 9 name may suggest. Read more about Nokia 9 as tipped by our sources earlier.
Nokia 8 Pro or simply Nokia 8 (2018) is another Nokia 2018 Flagship that will be powered by Snapdragon 845 like Nokia 9 (2018). As we already mentioned above it is yet not clear which one will sport the notch but if we need to make an educated guess the more expensive one which may be the Nokia 9 may be the one to sport the notch.
Though these are the prototypes under testing that we are talking about here and things change a lot till companies decide to launch a phone. With Apple reportedly doing away with the notch on the iPhone X successors, it hardly makes sense for any Android Vendor to follow this stupid trend.
