Soon Windows 10 Mobile Storage will let you check “Pending updates” & more UI changes

4

To be honest we didn’t check it before and so we are not clear which Windows 10 Mobile Redstone brought these changes, but if you go to Storage settings from App List or by going to Settings–>System–>Storage, you will notice few changes from last Threshold release Build 10586.218.

  • If you go to This Device–>Temporary Files, there is a new option that should allow you to check pending updates and preview builds status, though it crashes now on tapping
  • The UI change can be seen in case of Remove files option for Temporary files, Downloads Folder and Telemetry. In Threshold these were handled by three separate delete options but now you can check boxes and remove files in one go.
  • You can now go to Offline Maps settings from Storage as there is a shortcut provided now.

Check the screenshots above that show the changes.

Thanks Leni for the tip. Cheers!!
