O2 Germany official blog had revealed that both Lumia Cyan and Lumia Denim updates will arrive in one single package for Lumia users on their network in coming weeks. This blog post is dated 24th September and we now have received tip claiming that some Lumia users are already receiving this combined package.
As per the tipster, who has also sent us the blog post link, Lumia devices that received updates were not dev preview enabled and now can create Live Folders and the extra+info for them shows Lumia Denim as the firmware, post update. This combined with the official O2 blog announcement may mean that Lumia Denim roll-out may have already begun, even before late October to early November timeline that we came to know from our sources.
Now, coming to the tip’s validity, it is not accompanied by any screenshots and we have asked the sender to provide us with screenshots. In case, it is valid and your O2 Germany device has also received Lumia Denim update, feel free to share with us.
