Two NSN related news bytes!!

NSN has just announced completion of 15 years in “managed services business” which provides service management to telecom operators across the globe. Another great news is that due to quality of its delivery it has been able to renew 90% of service business across the globe. In India, the service contract renewal rate is 100% and apart from that it is tipped to win new deals like Vodafone as reported by us earlier.

During the past year, NSN has further enhanced its Managed Services business approach, increased its overall operational efficiency and built mechanisms for evaluating and managing the Managed Services deals into success. At the same time, NSN has been looking for new opportunities and continued or renewed nearly 90% of its existing Managed Services contracts. For example, in India NSN has recently renewed all of its Managed Services contracts, while increasing services scope and improving Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreement requirements at the same time. Voice and Data is ranking NSN number one in the Indian Managed Services market again this year**.

The second byte is about NSN and Juniper networks extending their partnership to deliver next generation of mobile IP solutions.

Nokia Solutions and Networks, a global leader in mobile broadband, and Juniper Networks (NYSE: JNPR), the industry leader in network innovation, today announced the expansion of their long-term partnership. The agreement now covers secure IP connectivity for high-performance mobile broadband networks via jointly-developed solutions that meet the end-to-end needs of operators.

The solutions described are already available commercially. According to the report many leading LTE operators rely upon NSN’s provided IP solutions, which will become better with the new generation of solution suite.
