So, seems our educated guess about Nokia X71 being the Nokia 6.2 was correct after all. Two FIH OTA tracker screenshots posted on Baidu in China confirm that earlier leaked Nokia smartphone with TASĀ  or Taishun code-name is in fact Nokia 6.2 or X71.

One of the screenshots below has TAS as Nokia 6 (2019) while the second one has TAS as Nokia X71. As one can see both the entries were found in OTA firmware from FIH server.

Recently we saw leak of a purported mail from HMD to some Taiwanese dealers that talks about Nokia X71 with 48MP rear camera. The mail even revealed the launch date for Nokia X71 as April 2.

Now, Nokia 6.2 becomes a very interesting smartphone with few firsts like a punch-hole display and a 48 MP rear camera sensor with 120-degree wide-angle photography. It may seem that HMD is planning to take the fight for mid-range supremacy to competitors.

Nokia 6.2 details:

Nokia 6.2 may come with a display size of 6.2-inch with Full HD+ resolution and 19:9 ratio. Nokia 6.2 may be the first Nokia smartphones to come with a punch-hole display and a 48 MP rear camera. It will be available in 4GB/6GB RAM variants and may be powered by a Snapdragon processor. Read detailed Nokia 6.2 specs and other information on its dedicated page.
