If you too feel that the launch price for Lumia 1020 was too much, there’s some relief as the first ready stock of Lumia 1020 is now available via ebay and going for a price of ₹44893 which is flat 5000 less than the official pre-order price of ₹49999.
The seller is from Amritsar and although does not have a hefty stock, still more than 10 units are available (one sold. oops 2 sold as i finished writing this 😛 ) with more to join the stock 🙂 The phone is available in 3 colors viz. Black, Yellow and White.
This was already expected as the price tag of ₹50000 was really too high for the phone. Admitted that the phone comes with a revolutionary camera technology, but there’s still a level beyond which it starts feeling like too overpriced and the same is the case with the Official Price of 1020.
To what I feel, the price at all retails will soon come down to around ₹42-44000 as the festival and shopping season of Diwali approaches.
