Nokia 4.2 gets Display color temp (White Balance) option with the new Pie Build

0

Nokia 4.2 has started receiving a new Android Pie build with May Security update. The new Pie Build V1.22E is 439.7 MB in size and while initially, it is difficult to make out what visible changes it brings with itself, we were able to notice a very interesting change.

As one can notice in the screenshots above, Nokia 4.2 Display settings get a new “White Balance” option. The name for the option is a bit misleading because it is not the White Balance that it controls but the color warmth of the display.

If you tap on the White Balance option and enter the next screen you will notice that color warmth can be adjusted to a more or less saturated color display option. In case you are not happy with your new adjusted setting you can reset back to the original Factory shipped color warmth.

This is a much-welcome option and slowly we see some of the cool options available on Lumia range making it to the new Nokia Android range. This option should be made available on other Nokia smartphones too.
