New Windows Phone 8.1 update 1 version with a good jump over the release version reveals itself

Today we spotted a higher version of Windows Phone 8.1 update 1, 8.10.14234.0 at WPBench. As compared to the latest release build 8.10.14157.200 of Windows Phone 8.1 update 1 developers preview , this is certainly a good enough jump. Before this we reported a slightly higher version 8.10.14160.0 at WPBench. Seems, the second update for Windows Phone 8.1 update may be coming soon.

The last update to Windows Phone 8.1 update 1 didn’t bring any visible changes, so it will be interesting to see what comes with this second update.

We had earlier reported about a new Windows Phone 8.1 build and the reported version 8.15.12375.0 was a singinificant jump from the latest Windows Phone 8.1 update 1 build 8.10.14157.200. Now, it was easy to guess that it may belong to the second major Windows Phone 8.1 update which may be termed as GDR2 or Windows Phone 8.1 update 2. The GDR2 dev preview has been marked for October by our sources, but don’ get surprised if it happens sooner than that.
