A previously unknown Nokia smartphone with variant code TA-1131 has passed certification in China recently. The certification as can be seen in the screenshot above reveals that it does come with “Fast travel charger AD-18WC” which confirms the quick-charging support.
One can also notice that apart from the details about the charger and TD-LTE support there is nothing that this certification can reveal about the upcoming smartphone. So, that leaves rest to the imagination.
If we have to make an educated guess we can think about the Snapdragon 710 powered Phoenix or the Snapdragon 845 powered Nokia 9. These two devices are in contention of being the next Nokia smartphone to be launched by HMD.
Official quick-charging support mentioned in the certification does put the device in upper mid-range to high-end category. We have recently reported about sighting of another new Nokia smartphone TA-1104 in Russian certification.
