Microsoft extends Windows Phone 7.8 support till 14th October

Microsoft has extended support for the Windows phone 7.8 devices till 14th October. The actual support expiry date was September 9, but now Windows Phone 7 device owners have few more weeks of support.

Though, without a new update coming to Windows Phone 7.8 running devices, it will hardly mean anything. Hopefully, Microsoft provides some goodness as a parting gift to older devices.
