Since Lumia 1020 was not released at the same time everywhere, so 14th September date in my humble opinion may be specific to US market. This may also mean that imaging flagship McLaren will be ready to replace it very soon. Lumia 1020 has been one of the most iconic smartphones ever, especially due to its amazing 41 MP camera which gives even DSLRs a run for their money. So, it is hard to imagine Microsoft taking it off market without bringing a true successor.
