Great news!! After Nokia China’s announcement, now Nokia has announced global roll-out of Lumia Black update. The update will be available first for Lumia 1020 and Lumia 925 with other devices getting it in coming weeks.

I just checked on my Lumia 925 and it is already downloading the update, so it is available in India now for Lumia 1020 and Lumia 925. How to check for the update?

Go to Settings—–>Phone Update——> Check for update

One more good news. Applications Folder, is in fact available globally now with a download from store. Here is the download link,

You can go to official Lumia Black update page to check about availability of the update for your device. You may be already aware of the changes Lumia Black brings with itself. It actually combines both GDR3 and extra features from Nokia in one Firmware. Below is the official Changelog,
