HMD recently released July software update that had Android July security patch and some other enhancements and improvements. While it was not mentioned in the changelog it has also fixed a nasty bug faced by many Nokia 3 users.

Many Nokia 3 user faced a bug that would not allow the volume change made by user on Nokia 3 to be effective. So, even if you had made the volume low for notifications, alarms etc you would hear louder volume when a notification arrived. This was certainly irritating.

But with July update this bug has been smashed it seems. The volume control works fine and this has been tipped to us by many Nokia 3 users so we can assume that the fix has worked for everyone.

Do let us know if you are still facing this volume control bug even after installing the July software update for Nokia 3.
