0

Microsoft’s Joe Belfiore has revealed two interesting bits of info yesterday. Seems, Dropbox is planning to bring its official app to Windows phone, though timeline is not known.

If you are in US, you can install Softcard app to make NFC payments with your NFC enabled Windows Phone devices. You need to have an enhanced SIM for doing so, however. It also seems, only AT&T supports it for now and it is valid for only post-paid customers.

Features & How To:

To use Softcard™, you need two things:

▶ A compatible smartphone that uses NFC (near field communication) technology to send payment info at checkout.

▶ An ENHANCED SIM CARD that stores and protects your payment and other sensitive payment information.
