HMD made it very clear in the beginning itself that Nokia 3, 5 and 6 will certainly get Android P, as they promised minimum 2 years of OS update. Device owners however want re-confirmations, such is the state or bad state of OS updates in the Android world.

So, here is the latest re-confirmation from none other than the HMD CPO, Juho Sarvikas.

This should bring some peace of mind for those Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 users still worried about the Android P update for their smartphones. HMD recently announced Android P Beta for the latest Nokia 7 Plus and became one of the first vendors to do so.

HMD has been very prompt in pushing Android Oreo updates to its 2017 devices and currently only Nokia 2 is left out of the Oreo sweetness, but that may change soon.
