Nokia has announced over its HERE Blog that HERE is the official Map of the BMW Berlin Marathon. The event will take place on 28th of September for the 41st time. HERE Maps will not only be available at main website as online map, but printed maps and video segments for TV stations created with HERE Maps data are also being provided.
One can also install the official apps for iPhone, Android and Windows Phone powered by HERE.
HERE and Ford are working together to create a location platform which will automatically regulate hybrid vehicles to switch to Electric Battery once it enters a predefined “Green Zone”. This will be a major improvement over existing hybrid tech which gets the battery depleted first and later switches to gas. The new hybrid tech will allows less emission, noise in highly populated areas.
HERE will help people in defining Green zones for their trips in advance with help of its Location intelligence and accurate maps.
