Google brings Beta program to the official Phone app on Android

0

Google pushed an update to the official Phone app on Android back in March. The Google Phone app is the one that is available in our Nokia Android smartphones also.

Now the app is getting another improvement for us. Google has brought the default Phone/Dialer app to the Beta program of Google Play Store where some selected users get to test the unreleased version of any app. Bringing Phone app to Beta means Google is going to bring much more features yo this app. It will also be tested thoroughly before it’s released to general public.

The Beta joining page has something for those who are interested in testing. The page says,

Hello,

Google LLC has invited you to a testing programme for an unreleased version of the Phone app. As a tester, you’ll receive an update that includes a testing version of the Phone app, which may also include unreleased versions of its instant app.

Note that testing versions may be unstable.

Send your feedback to Google LLC using the contact information:phone-beta@google.com.
