Getting WhatsApp on Nokia X & Nokia XL, (for those not able to register)

We shared two working solutions for getting WhatsApp on your Nokia X, Nokia X+ or Nokia XL and we have demoed it in a video as well. But this works if the Whatsapp allows you to register after installation on your devices, as it allowed me to register on my Nokia XL.

I could see many of you complaining that you can’t even register. So, here is what you can try, though since I don’t have an issue with registering, so I can’t confirm whether it works perfectly.

1) Download older version of WhatsApp. You can download and try version 2.11.205 from here

2) Now before installing it, Set your device date in past (Before May 2014)

3) Install the WhatsApp now and it should allow you to register.

4) Once registration is done, you can go back to the two solutions provided by us.

Either use widget to access WhatsApp directly

or

uninstall Whatsapp after registration—–> Set time to present date——>install WhatsApp Plus.
