Gartner places Nokia as a LTE leader in “Magic Quadrant” for third year in a row .

new nokiaGartner, the reputed analyst firm has placed Nokia as a LTE leader for the third year in a row. You may know that NSN name has been done away and now Nokia brand name will be used for Networks and Technologies businesses while HERE will maintain its distinct identity. So, coming to the news, Gartner publishes its yearly “Magic quadrant for LTE networks” and Nokia finds place in the leaders quadrant this year as well.

Nokia, a leading provider of mobile broadband solutions, today announced that it has been positioned by the highly respected analyst firm Gartner, Inc. for the third year in a row in the “Leaders” quadrant of the “Magic Quadrant for LTE Network Infrastructure 2014”*. Gartner’s Magic Quadrant evaluates vendors of end-to-end LTE network solutions, based on their completeness of portfolio, vision and ability to execute.

Today, Nokia has 138 commercial references for delivering LTE with leading operators in advanced and large mobile broadband markets such as South Korea, Japan, United States and China. In fact, the Magic Quadrant notes that in the past twelve months, Nokia’s rate of gaining new LTE customers is among the fastest in the industry. Additionally, Nokia is LTE/TD-LTE radio supplier to eight out of the ten largest LTE operators, measured by LTE subscribers.
