What looks like a probable successor of Asha 501 has just passed through FCC. It is labelled as RM-922 and is comparably larger than Asha 501. As can be seen its size specs are 102.55 mm x 60.55 mm as compared to 99.2 x 58 of Asha 501.

Apart from this it looks like dual-sim variant and will be a 3G device unlike Asha 501. It also has WLAN. It will have same battery BL-4U as of Asha 501.

The device has passed through FCC when we have an launch event in sight on 26th of this month. So, will it get announced along with Phablet or may be there will be an announcement event separately? Whatever the case the Asha 501 successor with 3G and 5 MP camera may be coning soon.
