Xbox MusicMicrosoft’s Summer cleaning has already taken its toll on 18000 employeesNokia X, Asha and Nokia Feature Phones, services like Nokia MixRadio, Xbox entertainment studio and even on the Windows Phone Flagship McLaren. Now, a statement from Satya Nadella during Q2 earnings call has led many to speculate that even Xbox Music and Xbox Video may be heading towards similar fate.

Satya had said,

With our decision to specifically focus on gaming, we expect to close Xbox entertainment studios and streamline our investments in music and video. We will invest in our core console gaming in Xbox live with a view towards the broader PC and mobile opportunity.
