HMD has today confirmed in a press release that Nokia 8 Sirocco has started receiving the official Android Pie update. With this Pie roll-out, Nokia 8 Sirocco has become the 8th Nokia Android smartphone to receive the Android Pie update. You can read our complete software update coverage by clicking here.

Good news is that the update is already available for Nokia 8 Sirocco. The Pie build number is V4.12 and it is 1379.5 MB in size.
Android Pie: All the changes and new features:
The Android 9 Pie update brings the majority of Android 9 Pie changes and features to Nokia 8 Sirocco. The major changes and features include all-new gesture-based navigation option, lots of UI changes, Notification improvements, Settings revamp, usability improvements and much more.

DELHI, INDIA, 09 JANUARY 2019: HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones, has today announced that the Nokia 8 Sirocco will now begin receiving the latest Android operating system, Android 9 Pie.
With the Android 9 Pie upgrade arriving on the Nokia 8 Sirocco, a total of eight Nokia smartphones are now running the latest Android OS, giving users access to the latest features from Google. The Android 9 Pie update ensures that Nokia smartphones improve with time, thanks to intuitive AI which learns user habits to ensure the most effective and efficient experience.
