“Acer Jade Primo” officially launched at CES

In IFA 2015, Acer announced its new smartphone running Windows 10 Mobile called Acer Jade Primo. The device packs some impressive specs, including support for Continuum.

Jade Primo Price & Release Date:

Today Acer finally announced the price of Jade Primo in CES 2016 event. The device is priced at €569 which is pretty cheap compared to Microsoft’s Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL. However the device will become available for purchase, starting February in EMEA.

Acer will supposedly pack Continuum Dock, Keyboard and mouse with Phone in a package. Acer has earlier demoed Continuum for phones on Acer Jade Primo. With Continuum support on Acer Jade Primo, you can:

  • Connecting the smartphone to a TV or monitor at hotels or anywhere on the go for productivity-intensive applications, so that the heavier laptop can be left at home.
  • Projecting presentation decks to a projector or large screen, while displaying the “Presenter View” on the smartphone.
  • Playing videos on the TV while using other apps on the smartphone simultaneously.
