Update:
We just guessed and reasoned below for a March release for Lumia 928, and now seems that it may be March after all. We just got tipped by Ark regarding a “Verizon rep” with the name “Honestabebread ” active in WPCentral forum discussions. He has revealed that Lumia 928 may be smaller than Lumia 920 in size will have HTC 8X or Lumia 720 kind of styling and Micro SD card slot with 16 GB on-board storage.
He also has mentioned that device should be out within three weeks from now or by Easter time, which is 31st March !! In that case an announcement may certainly be coming soon!!

If you remember, in July 2012 Nokia claimed to bring amazing phones in Spring 2013. To quote the original statement, “This Spring “people will be climbing over themselves” to get at the new Nokia products“. So, Spring is about to kick in and we have few upcoming device names and some proofs of their existence. So 41MP PureView EOS for AT&T, RM-860 aka Lumia 928 for Verizon and Aluminium body “Catwalk” for T-Mobile and rest of the world.
But one question remains, these devices were supposed to be unveiled at MWC which is already gone. So now when can we expect some sort of announcement? Read ahead,
- Spring is almost here, and Nokia wanted to give full media attention to Lumia 720 and 520, so may be that was the reason behind giving announcements the miss at MWC.
- One more reason why Nokia can announce something in March, because Samsung is releasing Galaxy S4 in March. So, may be Nokia would like rain on Samsung’s party
.
- The timing of entry of Lumia 928 in Verizon’s database also indicates a March unveiling. Reason being database entry and actual release timings of Lumia 822 and Red Lumia 822.
- The recent “Instagram” saga and the #2InstaWithLove app creation by Nokia seems to suggest “Instagram my be coming soon” !! So, may be all the unreleased devices and Instagram will see official announcement together.
Ok, if you are still not convinced, then no issues !! Even we are not 100% convinced , but just thought of sharing my random thoughts with you all.

Yup, 1280 x 768 res and verizon bands. Nokia won’t have two high end phones for verizon

they should get the 920 variant into verizon and tmobile before summer, otherwish it is no longer high-end since it is released for more than 6 month by then.
I would hope that spring is the date. Not just because I’m on T-MO US and would love to see a Nokia high end hit there but. Nokia has a good product line for the mid-to low level devices rather a nice range of devices. But with only one high end device. Getting a Nokia high end on Verizon alone would increase sales and adaption to WP8.
I’m waiting for Catwalk on Tmo, but thought it was going to be released in the summer?
don’t forget the windows 8 tablet! I am hoping it to be a valley view or haswell Intel core with Nokia music, Nokia Map/Drive, Nokia lens.
I am so happy with my 920, but once EOS come out, I will get it in a flash. also, I am slowing getting converted to all nokia… nokia speakers, headphone, battery pack, charging plates. Every single items I got are awesome. well worth the money. Nokia is the company to keep!

Or maybe he though people would climb over themselves over 920? if it was released by apple, people probably would have done that.
Nokia keeps the ball rolling with all these great things coming! Personally I know a lot of people are waiting for Verizon to get a new flagship Lumia.
