It is though no surprise for us because of two facts: Lumia 920 is indeed the best of the pack with its class leading innovations and secondly thanks to cloud based browser like “Opera Mini” and “Nokia Browser” we always knew that in the poll Lumia 920 is leading with huge margin. But now results are out and Lumia 920 is crowned “Smartphone of the year“ in Engadget Awards’12 based on the poll.
Amazing is the margin with which it beats second placed Samsung Galaxy S III. 43.5 % vs 15.6%. Have a look at chart above and you will see iPhone 5 cooling its heels at no. 3.
