It seems Apple is not the only inspiration for Samsung but now Nokia may be the inspiration behind Samsung’s upcoming innovative products (pun intended). A report from “Appleinsider” says that Samsung may have lifted next generation technology from Nokia’s component orders and then may have canceled the order itself. They quote Bendable screen technology, which Nokia was obviously the pioneer, as an example, here.
Actually if we take advantage of hindsight, Nokia demoed the Bendable phone with flexible OLED display named as “Kinetic Phone” during the Nokia world back in 2011 first in media and then after sometime all of a sudden we heard Samsung jumping in the game. So, may be there is some relation between such technical inspirations that Samsung may have taken from Nokia
and as the report suggests Nokia’s bid to dump Samsung as a supplier.
The ‘firewall’ between component sales and smartphones [at Samsung],” individual familiar with Nokia’s component orders from Samsung states, is “about as sturdy as a pile of kimchi.”
The individual stated that Samsung has “a record of getting orders for next-gen components, then canceling the orders. And then they show up in a Samsung phone. When you see a Samsung ‘bendy’ OLED phone as you surely will, you are looking at something that was stolen from Nokia.”
Good news is that as per we know, Nokia may be already ordering Lumia screens and other components from suppliers like Alps, Sharp etc. So, may be something was already cooking in background !!
why is nokia not suing?
Once samsung did Apple to the same thing. Don’t trust such a thief giants. Samsung almost copying company
I knew their bendable “tech” was too good to be true.

If this is true, its a step in the right direction.. Nokia was the one to mention about this flexible tech and what happened later? Samsung suddenly appeared and is just ready to become the first to produce devices with flexible screens :/
