We reported earlier via leaked promo material that Phones4u will be offering Sim Free Lumia 920 for the price of £459.95. But, there was lots of confusion regarding whether this Sim free Lumia 920 will be truly unlocked or will be locked to EE only.
Now one of our readers has taken pains to go to six of Phones4u stores and has spoken to the store reps. Really good news here. They confirm that Sim free Lumia 920 will be fully unlocked and that the stock is due for 6th of November.

Phones4U are indeed claiming that the “sim free” are unlocked though, so I’m still aiming to take my custom to them based on the price!! They’ve taken my number ready to ring as soon as they’re delivered, so I’m taking that as a pre-order. Now.. what colour shall I go for
